What happened to the chick with all the knitting?

Dear, darling blog, how I have neglected thee. But fear not, for a monstor post of epic progress is forthcoming. Sort of. I haven't really made that much progress, but it will look like I have, because I haven't posted in so long. I would really like to opt out of real life and just sit at home and knit and watch Deadliest Catch marathons.

The crazyness of my life the past few weeks has left me with an epic appreciation for simple knitting. No fancy lace for me. Well, a little fancy lace for me, actually, but only in small doses, and even then, it didn't go well.

This is all my long-winded way of saying that work has been difficult, and I haven't had much time or energy to do anything lately, even blog, which has always been so cathartic for me. Also, I'm trying to cover up the fact that I have avoided the blog because I've been too lazy to photograph anything to post.

But! I will be going to the Fiber Farm Market tomorrow that Uniquities is hosting as part of their Spinner's Day Out. I wish I could have participated in the whole day, but I have to go to my company picnic in the morning. I'm already ducking out early just to get there in time for the fiber market. I could go afterwards, but then it would be like 3 or 3:30 before I got there and I'm convinced all the good stuff will be gone. Or...er...maybe there won't be any good stuff. Yeah. I'm sure there won't be any good stuff at all. I don't think you should go. You guys, just stay home, cause I'm sure the whole thing will be a bust. Yep. I'm only going because I have time to waste anyway...JUST BACK OFF IT'S MINE. Even if I don't know what 'it' is just yet. But I'm sure there will be an 'it' (as in, "I have to have it") and I will fight you for it, so just keep your distance. I'm a woman on the edge.
